Pupils at St Francis go to a wide range of co-ed, state, single-sex day and boarding schools. St Francis does not “feed” to any one particular school, and whilst we have considerable success with the local secondary schools, we pride ourselves on guiding parents towards the right choice for their child(ren).

At St Francis we work with parents to make sure their child leaves us, and goes on to a secondary school which will most suit their development – be it academic, sporting, musical or other,

We maintain close links with a variety of public schools, in addition to the schools in our locality, and take great care in our approach to understanding their culture and entrance requirements. This approach has enabled us to prepare our pupils for the relevant schools, and over the last 3 years have placed the overwhelming majority of pupils at their first choice secondary school.

In the Autumn Term we host a senior schools fair for the top UK’s senior schools to send their admissions teams in order to answer St Francis parents’ questions face-to-face.
